You  can now edit and delete messages from WhatsApp, but only if you have not read them yet

Almost everyone wished they could delete a text message sent in a hurry at some point.

Now, the email application WhatsApp adds the ability to do so.

WhatsApp seems to test the new feature on its beta software for iPhone, according to an image posted on Twitter by @WABetaInfo.

Was released a screenshot of the new feature with the words: "WhatsApp starts working on editing messages (disabled by default) #whatsappbeta '.

This suggests that the function is first disabled and beta software users currently have to find and activate.

When users click on a message and it is said that the new update has two options: "Edit" or "Revoke"

The first will allow the user to update the content of your message, while the second will allow you to fully remember.

WhatsApp has not officially confirmed the new feature.

WhatsApp, owned by Facebook, is the world's most popular messaging service and currently has over one billion users.

Last month, the app officially launched video calls around the world on iOS, Android and Windows Phone users.

According to the safety data standards, the new feature video call is fully encrypted, call protection to be heard.

This week, EU regulators accused Facebook of providing "misleading" and "incorrect" information during its $ 15,400 million ($ 19,000 million) acquisition of WhatsApp in 2014.

They claim that Facebook "intentionally or through negligence" presented misleading information that was contrary to merger rules in the EU.

If the charge passes, opens to a possible fine of one percent of its turnover, ie £ 100 million ($ 125 million) Facebook.
